So, yes, the other entry is down. I'm sure many of you are wondering why. I shall leave it to your imaginations.
Work goes on, and is somewhat improved. I have a computer and my own cubicle now, and I actually have work to do that seems to have some level of value. Although what that level may be, I can't tell you. Working here for even a week, as everyone tells me that my boss is a genius, has led me to believe that genius might not have anything to do with intelligence (though he is very, very intelligent) so much as it is a matter of intelligence married to common sense. A commodity I'm beginning to believe is in very short supply, and yet one that seems to be a primary attribute in those I choose to keep as friends (to one extent or another ^_^).
To get off the work track, discussion of the weekend: I have once again proved to myself that clubbing is fun, thus reminding myself in the process why it is that I love D.C. On the other hand, for those very same reasons I could easily fall in love with most cities in the Northeast Corridor, or virtually any major city on the West Coast. Which is a good thing, as it's looking more and more likely that I'll be going to graduate school somewhere in the Pacific Northwest. Fortunately, I can also stay pretty happy in Bburg, as Boogieburg.com seems to still be up and running, and indicates that there is still a nightlife going on in the NRV...just well hidden.
And now, as I am technically still on the government's dime, I should be getting back to work.
